A large plunge pool, surrounded by a shady central courtyard, is perfect for a refreshing dip after a day in the kitchen. Enjoy a refreshing glass of mint tea in the lounge at any time of day while you ponder your next recipe. Start or end your day on the cool rooftop terrace with a tropical garden and great views across the Medina to the mountains beyond. Traditional home cooked meals are prepared using delicious fresh local produce from the nearby markets. Marrakech Cookery School is found at Riad Africa, in the heart of Marrakech Medina behind a walled facade which keeps away the hustle and bustle of the city.

Large kitchen for Cookery Classes. After working up a sweat in the kitchen you can cool off and relax around our plunge pool which is one of the largest in the medina. Two tranquil palm-filled courtyards, a comfortable dining lounge, a bar and private roof garden offer a choice of areas in which to really unwind. There is a massage room, free wifi, laptop, log fires in winter, concierge service and an evening bar.

9 rooms and suites. Room facilities include air-conditioner/heater, iPod player/clock radio, wifi, local mobile phone, tea/coffee & toiletries, bath robes, slippers, hairdryer, mini-bar, digital safe. TV and a Made-in- Morocco movie collection on request.
